Melody Boyer joined the 180 Skills leadership team in August and, among other duties, will lead the growth of the program’s workforce training courses.

As 180 Skills’ new Director of Operations, Boyer will oversee the content development, implementations, IT, and human resources teams.

“I’m thrilled to join the 180 Skills team, especially at this tipping point in the history of our company,” Boyer said. “Incredible things are ahead for 180 Skills. I feel privileged to be a part of it.”

Prior to joining 180 Skills, Boyer worked at Grace Church in Noblesville, Indiana, for 16 years, serving as campus pastor as well as pastor of communications and assimilation. She was an executive assistant to Gloria Gaither, the internationally renowned Christian author, speaker, and songwriter for seven years before that.

“Melody is a fantastic addition who already has brought fresh ideas and energy to the company,” said Joe Kitterman, CEO, and Founder of 180 Skills, LLC. “Her long history of leadership through community service made her a perfect fit for our mission to provide Hoosiers with the training they need to improve their careers and, by extension, their lives.

In collaboration with manufacturers, educators, and state leaders, 180 Skills manages the world’s most extensive library of employability and manufacturing skills training courses. Over 550 technical skills courses allow learners to gain knowledge leading to careers in aerospace and manufacturing. There are over 150 employability skills courses that range from Microsoft Office Suites to Stress Management.

Among other developments, 180 Skills recently announced a partnership with the State of Indiana to grant up to 100,000 Hoosiers free access to its online library, a critical component of the “Rapid Recovery for a Better Future” initiative led by the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet.
