180 Skills was featured in the National Aviation Consortium April 2015 Newsletter.

Last month we introduced you to the Manufacturing Institute, an industry leader who helped launch the NAC grant. This month, we want to shine the spotlight on a team partner whose creativity is second to none – 180 Skills.

Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, 180 Skills is an online technical education company that is on a mission to fill the skills gap. As a strategic partner to the NAC, 180 Skills has delivered over 135 unique online, simulation-based courses and over 100,000 credit hours of content to students seeking careers in aerospace manufacturing.

These courses, combined with the hands-on work performed at the NAC partner schools have helped over 4,000 students obtain careers in aerospace manufacturing.

180 Skills also developed and delivered 18 new courses on Safety, Quality and Professional Skills for the NAC consortium, and worked with SpaceTec, as well as several of the NAC schools, to create a new credential exam for Aerostructures Manufacturing.

It has been an unbelievable privilege for the team at 180 Skills to work with the NAC schools, their staff and their instructors.

“We have learned so much about education, partnerships and the impact the NAC schools have on their students and their local community.

It’s truly a blessing to be part of the NAC. The past three years have been the greatest days ever. We look forward to continuing this work and building upon these relationships for many years to come.”
