Requiring a talented workforce with high-skills and technical capabilities to manufacture the HA-420 HondaJet, an advanced light jet with superior performance and fuel efficiency, Honda Aircraft Company has partnered with Guilford Technical Community College to meet their production workforce needs.  Through this partnership and the use of the NAC 180 Skills Curriculum platform, participants in the program are introduced to and trained in the fundamentals of aviation manufacturing.

Honda Aircraft company has found that participants who have completed their training using the NAC 180 Skills curriculum possess a solid foundation in industry-standard practices, which allows Honda Aircraft to focus its training efforts on Honda-customized processes to build the highest quality product while also extending Honda’s principle of “going to the spot” by creating a sustainable workforce locally and building a cluster of trade and talent.
